Temporary City is an exhibition that starts from the basis: the artist. No theme or curator is involved. During the course of one week fifteen artists will work in the Atelierhof Kreuzberg and will challenge, negotiate and discuss their respective practices in order to use these as a base to develop an exhibition. Their works will be presented on an architectural structure, an ‘obstacle’ designed for the show by Andreas Müller. The result of this process can be seen during the following three weeks.

Temporary City begreift die individuelle künstlerische Position als Basis eines Ausstellungsprojekts, das sich aus einem gemeinsamen Prozess entwickelt. Hierbei sind weder Kuratoren involviert, noch ist ein Thema vorgegeben – stattdessen werden die fünfzehn beteiligten Künstler im Atelierhof Kreuzberg eine Woche lang ihre künstlerische Praxis im Spiel- und Reibungsfeld der von Andreas Müller entworfenen Architektur diskutieren und kritisch hinterfragen, um gemeinsam eine Ausstellung zu entwickeln. Diese Ausstellung kann anschließend drei Wochen lang besichtigt werden.
